Thread Wound Rose Window

Unlike most of my favourite fractal art pieces, this one is very linear in nature, although those lines have been bent and curved into a series of interconnecting arcs. Despite this, I couldn't resist the central knotwork on this piece, which strongly reminds me of some of the beautiful rose windows I have seen (which, not surprisingly, appeal to my love of stained glass). I hope you enjoy this piece too.

I'm seriously thinking about re-rendering this, though, in shades of red, because the outer arcs also make this piece remind me of a rose - so it's almost like a rose window, at the heart of a rose.
